Deutz D 40.2
The D 40.2 is a tractor model from the D series manufactured by Deutz in Germany in the 1960s. The internal designation is D 40.2. The sales designation, on the other hand, is D40L. The D 40 L was a light and inexpensive tractor with a motor PTO shaft and optional control hydraulics. With this equipment, it became the best-selling tractor in Germany during this period. From 1964 it was equipped with the new FL812 engine series. Compared to the Deutz D40.1S built in parallel, the D40L was around 300kg lighter.
The total number of units produced is 23361.
This tractor is in very good condition. The engine has not been tested running. Interested buyers are asked to form their own opinion about the condition of the tractor during the inspection.

A tv documentary was made at the time that the collector, Ivar Christensen, Møn, was still alive.

This tractor comes from a private collection of 35 vintage tractors in Denmark from a now deceased collector. All tractors were purchased from the estate and taken to our warehouse in Skjød and sold from there.
