The Triumph TR6 is without any doubt a highly sought after and popular classic car. It is a real sports car with a 2.5 liter six-cylinder in-line engine with a beautiful exhaust sound as a result. The car becomes even more interesting when it comes in the stylish British Racing Green color, like this stunning 1972 Triumph TR6.
Originally the car comes from Houston Texas (original US Title is still present) and came to the Netherlands in the 1990s. Subsequently, the car was fully restored and the engine block was also professionally overhauled. During the overhaul, the cylinder head was made suitable for unleaded fuel. The car is also completely 'matching numbers'. The differential was completely overhauled in 2011 and later Koni shock absorbers were mounted behind it.
The car has been maintained with great care and love in recent years. And that is clearly visible in this beautiful TR6. The car is in very good condition. The paint and chrome work is still very nice and the body parts also fit together perfectly. Both the body and the underside are still in hard and good condition. The spotlights at the front give the car an extra sporty look, as do the particularly beautiful minilight alloy wheels.
The interior is also still in excellent condition. The dashboard is in very good condition and all instruments work properly. The seat upholstery is, except for a few spots, still in good condition. The mounted Terratrip meter also works properly and is equipped with a foot switch. The original dashboard cover is also present. The convertible top has a few small spots, but is still in good condition and functions well.
As said, this Triumph TR6 has been maintained with great care and love. This is not only visible on the car itself, but also on the extensive maintenance history that is present with the car. All maintenance invoices from the past 30 years are present. For those who are looking for a beautiful Triumph TR6 for fun rides and lots of driving pleasure, you have found the car here.
